As a practicing dentist, I developed a special interest in the aesthetic component of general dentistry. I love being a part of my patients’ confidence transformation when they receive a beautiful new smile. On more than one occasion, however, I would hear “Now if only we could get rid of these wrinkles!” Hence, Subtle Beauty was born!
With my doctorate in Dentistry comes an extensive knowledge of facial structure, muscles, and nerves. So it was easy for me to adapt some of my medical training for Subtle Beauty!
You are in safe hands as a client of mine at Subtle Beauty (and at the dental office)! I am extensively trained in head and neck anatomy, and have developed a keen eye for detail and a steady hand while being a dentist. I complete all treatment planning and injections myself rather than a nurse or an assistant.
Wondering why I chose to call my business Subtle Beauty? My purpose is not to freeze your face from all movement, or to completely erase your natural (and what makes you beautiful) expressions! I carefully design each treatment plan to enhance your natural beauty by giving you smoother and more attractive expressions. You may be surprised to know that most people will not notice you received BOTOX, they will just think ‘wow, he/she looks good!’ Mission accomplished!
If you’re not quite sure where to start, during our free consultation, I will walk you through any questions you have and discuss my recommendations for the best esthetic look. Don’t worry, I aim to provide all of my clients with a comfortable experience and often get complimented on my gentle injection technique!
After I graduated from the Aesthetic Medical Educators Training BOTOX program, I am continuing to perfect my art by participating in continuing education seminars and courses. I’m excited to expand my knowledge beyond aesthetic injections and provide treatment for TMJ pain and headaches with BOTOX! Contact me if you would like to learn more about this possible treatment.
Background
I graduated with honors from North Dakota State University and received my doctorate at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. I currently practice general dentistry at both Granite City Family and Cosmetic Dentistry and at the St. Cloud VA Medical Center.
